Why This Matters to You
The world of education and work is changing faster than ever:
- In just 5 years, 60% of jobs worldwide will require new skills
- By 2030, 39% of core workplace skills will have transformed completely

These shifts create extraordinary opportunities for you to lead change in schools, universities, EdTech companies, and organizations worldwide – and impact the world !
How We Started
Our journey began early 2024 when four forward-thinking institutions recognized they should accomplish more: nested within Galileo Global Education, the world's largest higher education network, they decided to create something new for you:
Macromedia University (Germany) brought their AI & digital innovation expertise
emlyon Business School (France) contributed their entrepreneurial mindset
European University Cyprus shared their educational science knowledge
Noroff (Norway) added their technological ingenuity
They shared their expertise in cognitive neuroscience, innovation design and management.
Together, they formed Copernia with you in mind — as a student, a professional or an organization seeking to transform education.
What Makes Our Approach Different
When you join the Copernia community, you benefit from three unique advantages:
You'll engage with leaders in cognitive neuroscience, technology, education, design thinking, management and entrepreneurship—all essential perspectives for meaningful innovation.

Your Opportunity to Lead Change
This collaborative foundation has led to our flagship Master of Science program in "Innovation and Technology for Education":
A unique accredited European Master of Science Degree – jointly awarded by emlyon, Macromedia and EUC.
A two-year journey designed to transform you into an educational leader who can drive meaningful change.
Nicolas Badré
Director of Copernia
"After 25 years as an executive and CFO in global companies, I asked myself a fundamental question: What truly transforms our world? The answer was clear: education ! I joined Galileo late 2019, as the COO for France and then for the world – of this amazing organization that has become the largest higher education network in the world.
Education faces unprecedented disruption. Within five years, 60% of the global workforce will need reskilling. By 2030, nearly 40% of core workplace skills will have changed completely.
At Galileo, we see firsthand how our 300,000 students are hungry for educational innovation, how the companies we work with are eager to address the challenge of competences that evolve at rising speed. All of them acknowledge the need to transform education to transform the world. But who will lead this transformation? Who will bridge technology and human learning for an education that transforms the world for the better?
That's why we created COPERNIA - a consortium bringing together the expertise of Macromedia University (Germany), emlyon Business School (France), European University Cyprus, and Noroff (Norway) and leveraging the network of Galileo with the aim to shape the future of education.
Our European Joint Master of Science in "Innovation & Technology for Education" isn't just another degree. It's your opportunity to become a pioneer at the intersection of cognitive science, AI, educational design, and leadership.
Whether you're a recent graduate or an experienced professional, COPERNIA provides three essential elements: multidisciplinary expertise, a global testing ground for your innovations, and direct connections to leaders revolutionizing education.
Our first cohort begins March 2026. If you're ready to shape how millions will learn tomorrow, join us. The future of education isn't just about technology - it's about visionary leaders like you."
